Since 2019 SWC has implemented many youth training and employment programmes on the Wild Coast.

The focus of these programmes is always on exploring how landcare, agroecology and tourism can create work opportunities that strengthen Mpondo traditions of land custodianship which protect the environment. Our closest partner in this work is The Siyazisiza Trust, and other partner organisations include the Yes4Youth programme, Nedbank, Wild Trust and the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI).

For more detailed information on these programmes please read our annual reports.
